My brother Charlie is only 15 months younger than me. On the 12th Feb 2008 he became 40 years old, my daughter and I took him out for a meal and then a movie and a few drink at home. It just reminds me that when we were little that we used to get into trouble together, and that some people used to think we were twins.  But know we are both getting older and still enjoying life, and enjoying watching my daughter growing and be coming a young woman.
             Happy birthday charlie you are the best brother that any sister can wish for.

Sorry I have been away for so long, I have been very busy with work and catching up with family.
My daughter is know 17 years old, and she has been seeing this boy who is a year older then her for about 4 months know.

My daughter had her Prom on Friday 22 June. She looked lovely, just like a young lady. She went in a white limo with six other girls sharing.  I never had a prom because England only started doing this in the last 5 to 10 years.  My daughter is only 16 years old and hopfully going to Collage. 

To all my friends sorry I have not been on blog.co.uk, I have not been up to much of going on line since my father passed away in January. It has been like someone has just kicked me in the teeth. I lose my mother in last year and then my father goes too, 8 months after my mothers passing.  Just bare with me,  Thanks 

I can not believe it is my daughter's 16 birthday in six days. My daughter was born on the 22 December 1990, she was two weeks early and I came home from hospital on 24th December.   Know she is looking forward to being 16.  We all have been though a lot togather, we have lost a friend/Godfather, a mother/grandmother and family pets. Well I hope that she enjoys her birthday because I will all ways love her, she is a wounderful daughter who always make me smile

 |I can't be 40 but I am, I turned 40 on the 19 November. I had a great time  my family took me to see the new James Bond film it was really great.

I'm Lucy and this year I'll be 40, I Know that 40 is just a number but to me it means that in anther 40 years I'll be 80. I'm a single mum because my daughters father left me when I was three months pregnant which is his decision not mine. My daughter who is 15 years old has never seen her father, but maybe she will see him when she is older. I was 24 when my daughter was born she was born two weeks early. I am a very big fan of star trek, which means I am a trekkie, I have been a trekkie since I was a little kid. I live in a three bedroom maisonette with my daughter Jackie and my 38 year old brother Charles. I have three cats and one hamster.

I have lived in Coventry all my life. I was born at Walsgrave hospital in Coventry. Coventry has gone through a lot of changes since I was a little girl, They knocked an old factory down and put up the Sky Dome, they also knocked the old Coventry theater and put a world clock there and did up the front of the motor museum. My family and I have lived in Tile Hill for almost 15 years,. As a child we have lived in different parts of Coventry which was so hard for me and my brother because it was hard to make friends. My daughter goes to Tile Hill wood girl school, which she has been there for four years. At the moment I work at Sainsbury's on the checkout and in the kiosk, and my brother works for himself.

When I was little my parents always took us to BlackPool for our holidays, Which was nice but they never took us any where. This has made my brother and I want to make my daughters holidays really great. We used to go on holiday with British Holidays, but in 2004 the weather in England was not so great so we decided to go abroad for the first time, so we went to the South of France with a coach company called Harry Shaws. It took us a day and a half to get to the camp we were going too. We went to a small village called Port Grimaud, we stayed on a caravan site called Les Prairies de la Mer. We also went on a cruise to St Tropez, which was really great because we saw all of the yachts in the ports and where some of the rich and famous holiday homes. We even went to San Remo in Italy for the market which was great, I do have a new perspective on the Italians (mad, mad). My family was very sad when we had too go home.

Last year we decided to go with Harry Shaw's coach company again but this time we went to Salou in Spain. We also took my nephew with us. We had a great time. We stayed in a camp called Sanguli, it is clean and very lively park and safe for familys, it had three swimming pools, a kids club and lots of entertainment. We went to Barcelona football club and to the Zoo, which had a dolphin show that was great because we have never seen dolphins before. We also went to a water park which was really great it also had a dolphin show but it also had a seal lions show too, my daughter and nephew had a great time they even liked it when they had there photo's took with the seal lions. And we also went to Port Aventura which is a Theme park, it was really big you can get lost in there we had a great time. We went on a glass bottom boat which went from Salou to Cambrils which was really great. We were all sad when after two weeks we had to go home.

In 2006 we are going back too Salou but this time we are not going with Harry Shaw we are going too fly for the first time. We all can't wait too go back because the weather has been really horrible here.
